Gap Inc.

Don Fisher created gap with a simple idea; to make it easier to find a pair of jeans. He had the idea to make jeans for all body types. Jeans came in all sizes and styles.

Today Gap Inc. is one of the worlds largest specialty retailers with more than 3,100 stores and fiscal 2006 revenues of 15.9 billion.

The original Gap advertising song phrase was rock music.
