Cell Phone Blamed for Train Death

A man in Berkeley, California was struck and killed yesterday while crossing the train tracks on foot. Witnesses say that he was distracted by talking on his cell phone, resulting in the accident.
Unfortunately, this happens a lot. People easily get distracted by talking on their phone. One time I saw a guy drop his wallet. I called out to him and he was too busy on his phone that he didnt even notice me. To make a long story short I got a number out of his wallet and call his wife. He then met me to get his wallet. A lot of accidents occur when it comes to cell phones. People have to be very cautious. Something so simple can end up so dangerous.

Interns attend weekly presentations by senior executives, which provide an overview of the company and the many aspects of our business. Each intern is also assigned a challenging project that he or she will present to senior management at the end of the summer.
Gap Inc. makes the projects fun for the summer interns.

Teen births in the U.S. see first increase in 16 years

U.S. government staticians said for the first time in 15 years, the teenage birth rate in the U.S. increased. The teen birth rate peaked in 1991, and somehow took an upturn from 2005 to 2006 when the rate increased three percent. They blamed it on increased federal funding for abstinence-only health education that doesn't teach teens how to use condoms and other contraception.
I also think that it also comes from home. Parents should talk to their children and spend time with them.

Fisher’s museum may fill Gap in the Presidio

The former Presidio trustee has offered to build the 100,000-square-foot Contemporary Art Museum at the Presidio to display his and his wife’s modern-art collection at the main Parade Grounds.
They have a very fine collection, and would like the public to see it.
The project would also convert a nearby barracks building into an office, bookstore and education center, according to the plans. The museum could open as soon as March 2011. This is a thoughtful idea. It seems very interesting and entertaining.
